I first realised my passion for helping people when I started my working life in a local nursing home, I looked after the elderly and vulnerable and really felt passionately about the people I was caring for. It was there that my supervisor encouraged me to undertake my RGN training, 3 years later I was qualified as a Nurse.
After 18 months on a busy trauma and orthopaedic ward I decided to take a career break and move to Australia. It was here that I was introduced to the world of healthcare recruitment. I ran the elderly care permanent desk, finding jobs for Nurses and Nursing Managers in organisations across Sydney. Overtime, I began to see that my passion for the sector, coupled with my caring nature, could be applied to my new role by supporting people to find the best nursing and management roles available.
I have now moved home to Wales to continue my recruitment career with Vetro, I run the permanent nursing desk finding permanent jobs for Nurses and Nursing Managers across Wales and the South West. I work closely with mental health and elderly aged care services and will continue to provide the best services I can for our community through the provision of quality nursing staff.
In my spare time I like to walk my French bulldog Bleu, keep physically active with running ad spending time with my 3 god children.
