Are you a Teaching Assistant looking to advance your career?
Are you an NQT (or soon to be) looking for more hands-on classroom experience?
Have you been out of teaching for a little while but looking to get back into the classroom?
If you have answered yes to any of the above, we would love you to consider the role of a Cover Supervisor.
What does a Cover Supervisor do?
Cover Supervisors play a crucial role at Secondary Schools. You would cover the class in the absence of the usual class teacher to support the pupils to complete their work. The role will vary according to the school and class being covered, but you won't be expected to do anything above supporting the children as best you can.
You won't be expected to lesson plan; to have relevant subject knowledge; to set homework; to mark the school work.
We have an urgent demand for Cover Supervisors. Whilst there is no formal qualification to be a Cover Supervisor, we are providing FREE Cover Supervisor Training on Tuesday 1st June 2021, 14:00 - 16:00, at our HQ in Caerphilly, delivered by our Associate Director Ross Harries, and one of our wonderful Teachers. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve, basis.
Please register to express your interest below and our Education team will be in touch to confirm your attendance.
