Vetro seeks a Registered Charge Nurse for a purpose-built low secure hospital in Nottinghamshire which offers personalised assessment and recovery-based treatment pathways, including a trauma specific pathway, for women with complex care needs. You will be central to providing high quality care within a ‘medium secure’ forensic setting. The patient group consists of Personality Disordered and Enduring Mental Illness.
About the role:
You will join the multidisciplinary team in providing specialist care for people with a diagnosis of severe and enduring mental illness and/or personality disorder and/or mild learning disability.
The combination of general low secure wards and a recovery ward area (also within the low secure perimeter) provide a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering recovery and rehabilitation.
Recognised Mentorship certification (Desirable)
NVQ Assessor Qualification (Desirable)

Verbal and written communication skills
A knowledge of the organisational policies and procedures
Experience of working in a supervisory capacity, secure environment and interdisciplinary teamwork. Experience of assessing and teaching junior staff and coordinating care
The candidate needs to prioritise key tasks in relation to the sphere of work and report writing.
