Vetro have a fantastic new opportunity for a Deputy Nursing Home Manager at a well-established and highly-rated service in Huyton. The home offers long and short term, nursing, residential and dementia residential care, as well as palliative nursing care, elderly and mentally infirm residential care and residential day care. Along with fantastic benefits, the salary for this full-time role (36 to 48 hours per week) will be £37,500 to £40,000 per annum.

About The Role:

Care is tailored to the needs of every individual with a bespoke care plan, created in partnership with the family to ensure that support received is unique. Our client seeks a passionate, motivated and experienced Senior Nurse looking for a move into management or an experienced Deputy looking for improved working conditions. As Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager in the complete running of the home along with the management of a multi-disciplinary staff team.

Duties:
Assistance with managing all members of staff including liaising with outside agencies.
Implement training/induction programmes for all Care Staff.
Ensure the highest level of care is delivered throughout the Home.
Improve the quality rating from CQC.

Requirements:

RGN qualification with at least 2 years experience of caring for the elderly within a care home setting.
Excellent management and supervisory experience.
Ability to lead and motivate other staff members.
Excellent communication, marketing, and business skills.
A clear and thorough knowledge of CQC standards.
