With the COVID-19 crisis having a huge impact on the current academic year, many schools and provisions have turned their attention to preparation for next academic year and their staffing for September 2020.

As a result Vetro Education North Wales are extremely keen to speak to Primary or Secondary trained Teachers who have experience in SEND environments, SEBD and PRU settings. Teachers of Science, Maths, Art, English, Physical Education and Humanities are required for a variety of roles from next academic year.

Duties of the role will include:

Delivery, planning and marking of lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
Working as a team with the Teaching Assistants in their class
Follow the school’s behaviour management policy Engage with pupils both in the classroom and on out-of-school activities
Plan for and attend parents’ evenings (if on long term positions)


Minimum Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or overseas equivalent) TEAM TEACH TRAINING IS ESSENTIAL FOR THESE ROLES
1 year Teaching experience (where we can obtain a reference) of working with children in a SEND environment
Fully enhanced DBS (on the Update service) - ability to obtain a new one References covering the last two years (no gaps)
EWC registration (School support worker) Right to work in the UK
