Vetro Recruitment are working in partnership with a successful, therapeutic independent care provider offering education and residential support to children with emotional behavioural difficulties.
We are recruiting for a Children’s Home Registered Manager to be part of the setting up, opening and the running of a BRAND NEW service for children & young people aged between 9 - 18 with EBD in the Ilford area of East London (E11 postcode).

Salary £38,000 - £45,000

Hours Full time - 39 hours per week
This is the perfect opportunity for a children’s home registered manager looking to step up into a new role which offers the opportunity to build a service from scratch, including the recruitment of staff, the tailoring or the home to the needs of the young people, and the referrals process itself.
The successful candidate will have:
- QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Care or an equivalent qualification
- Experience working with children with EBD
- At least 2 year’s experience in a leadership or management role
- Strong communication skills
- Experience of managing a team effectively
- Experience of risk management
- Experience of managing home budgets
