Easily commutable from Shropshire, Brecon and the Llandrindod Wells areas, I am recruiting for a Children's Home Registered Manager for a 4-bed service for children & young people aged between 10 - 18 yrs with EBD.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Location: Builth Wells, Powys (LD2)
Hours: Full time
Contract Type: Permanent
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager to open a brand new service from scratch, from the decoration to the recruitment and put their own stamp on this service which will enhance the lives of the children & young people it supports.
You will be working within a small, yet well-established organisation, with the children at the heart of their values and a dedicated, close-knit leadership team.
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and experience working in a residential home for young people.
- NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children’s Services)
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce
- Social Care Wales Registered
- Experience working within a Deputy or Registered Manager's position
- Experience in a residential children's home environment
