We are currently recruiting for an ACCOUNT MANAGER, working out of our clients office in Caerphilly. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and communicative individual with great sales and account management skills.

Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for:

  • Account Management of existing customers - including regular site visits and discussions
  • Acting as a first point of contact for all new Inbound Sales enquiries
  • Onboarding new customers ensuring the highest levels of customer service at all times
  • Generating a sales opportunity pipeline to achieve agreed sales targets for all areas of the business
  • Participating in all sales activity including initial meetings, creating proposals and securing client sign off
  • Liaising with customers throughout the procurement and implementation processes
  • Working closely with internal and external marketing teams to support marketing campaigns and events
  • Ensuring presence in local market through effective networking and attendance at workshops, sector forums, events and trade shows
  • Ensuring our CRM system is up to date at all times

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience of developing strong customer relationships with new and existing customers
  • Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining an effective sales pipeline - using creative methods to achieve sales targets
  • Ability to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
  • Telemarketing experience advantageous

Skills Required:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for providing exceptional customer service - leading by example and acting as internal champion for customer service
  • A confident telephone manner is essential
  • Great planning, organisation and time management skills - the ability to multi task is crucial
  • Excellent attention to detail and the confidence to work without constant supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively with external partners and internal teams
  • Self-motivation with the experience to think creatively
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to quickly understand our brand, and act as a Brand Ambassador at all times
  • Competent computer skills with a talent to quickly assimilate new systems - previous use of HubSpot and LinkedIn would be advantageous

A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role. Travel will be required to customer sites across South Wales & the West
