This is a chance to work in a new and exciting care role being offered in Liverpool and surrounding areas. The role is to work as a care worker for patients who are well enough to leave hospital, but need some extra care and support before going back into their own homes. The role will also require you to be comfortable with personal care.
You would be working in one of the many re-enablement centres in Liverpool each day. As you would be working in a handful of different centres each shift (with rota's in advance), being a car driver would be advantageous - mileage is paid.
The company you will be working for:
A long-established care provider which is now looking for Carers to work in a newly establish project and care environment. The aim is to help with the transition of patients between hospitals and getting them back into their own homes.
My client has a wealth of experience supporting and caring for elderly and disabled people in the comfort of their own homes and offering them a state of independence.
Salary and shifts:
£8.50 per hour on weekdays, £9 per hour on weekends.
Mileage - £0.20p per mile.
Shifts are worked in 6 hour blocks, typically 4pm-10pm but hours may vary if needed. You will always be paid for 6 hours, even if you finish earlier.
Part time and full time hours available, my client is looking for temps as well as temp to permanent staff.
Centres are based in Aigburth, Woolton, Allerton, Garston and Liverpool City centre.
You must be able to travel to more than one of these locations.
Requirements and experiance:
At least 6 months working in a care role such as Healthcare assistant or Home Carer.
Comfortable with personal care.
Experience using hoists.
Car drivers would be advantageous.
