We are now appointing a clinical psychologist for a Children's residential service based in Swindon. The service provides education in addition to residential services at their large college located on site. The service provides 24 hour residential care for students with particular social and communication difficulties which include autism and Aspergers.
- Permanent full-time role
- Annual salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DoE
- Hours: 37.5 per week
The service concentrates on enhancing they student's education and focuses on improving employability for the future. They provides residential placements for students with specific social and communication difficulties, particularly autism and Asperger Syndrome, including co-morbid conditions.
It has a clear focus on providing education and improving employability and employment outcomes for young people aged 16 to 25 years old.
Your role as clinical psychologist will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of the young people at the service, in addition to developing their strengths and coping mechanisms and consulting with the relevant healthcare professionals.
- Previous clinical experience in working with young people with ASD and comorbid conditions.
- BPS Registered
- HCPC Qualified
