The opportunity:

Do you want to make a difference to the lives of children and young people? We are looking for passionate people to join our client on either a permanent or flexible agency basis. You will have the opportunity to support young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties in a residential home in Swansea. The client are able to offer placements to children and young people aged 0 to 18 years but are currently supporting two young people between 14 and 15 years old.

Our client's main goal is for the children and young people they support to become independent, a part of the community and for their confidence to develop so they can flourish in all they do. They are keen for those in their care to use the local community and sport to encourage personal development. If this is something that you would love to be involved with, you are the person we are waiting to hear from!

Your experience:

Due to the vulnerability of the young people you will be supporting, you will ideally have experience with children and young people already. Failing this, you will have worked in other Social Care settings such as mental health services or other environments where there are challenging behaviours. A Level 3 qualification would be beneficial although not essential. You must hold a full UK driving licence.
