On behalf of my Client I am looking to recruit a number of Support Workers to join their Children's Residential Homes, based in Wigan and St Helens
The home consists of two 6-bedded houses, one of which is female only. The children need support throughout the day and while at school (also on site) and sometimes during the night.
As a Support Worker it will be your responsibility to work with these young people and support them through their day to day live.
Pay for the role is between £20,000-£22,000 depending on experiance.
You'd be required to work 38 hours per week over a mixture of shifts, though typically t would be a pattern of 4 on, 3 off or 5 on, 3 off.
Contracted hours are 40, however, they will consider people who want part time hours.
To apply for the Support Worker role you will need
- Experience in Children's residential or similar settings.
- Experience with challenging behaviours
Drivers and portable DBS' are desirable.
