Our client, based in Swinderby, offers specialist care, support, education and leisure activities for children, young people and adults with complex needs and learning disabilities in both residential and school settings.
You will be working with children and young people aged 8 to 16 who need support both during the evening and overnight in their residential home. This means you will support them with the bedtime routine and with waking-watches during the night.
The role will offer you the chance to build positive and supportive relationships with the young people by meeting their individual physical, emotional and behavioural needs.
To be considered for the role, you will need:
-Excellent communication Skills
-To be comfortable with personal care
-To have a passion for working with and caring for young people.
-Ideally 6 months personal or paid experience working in care
Salary and shift details:
Salary: £19,388 per year.
Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday
Hours: 7:30pm - 7:30am
