About the Employer

The purpose of the UK charity is to improve the lives of autistic people and transform lives, supporting autistic adults to live as self-sufficiently as possible. The organisation have a number of care & support services across the region. From residential settings and supported living services empowering those supported to explore and engage with their local community and build independence.

As the Deputy Manager you'll report directly to the Registered Manager, you'll have a huge part to play in the smooth and safe running of the home, as well as making sure that residents are given the best level of care possible. You'll be responsible for working with residents daily as well as developing staff. As well as working with residents, you'll also be responsible for looking after staff, developing them to improve CQC rating and work towards 'Outstanding' in the future! You'll be motivated, fantastic at communicating and determined to set a great example.

You'll be experienced with supervising, managing rotas, care plans and of course have great people skills!

So if you are currently a Senior who has had these responsibilities and ready for your next move up the career ladder, this could be perfect for you... Alternatively you may be a Deputy Manager currently looking to join a professional organisation that offers on-going support, training and guidance we would love to hear from you!

A level 5 qualification would be valuable BUT if you have a Level 3 and wish to complete your Level 5 qualification this is a perfect opportunity!

Shifts, salary, benefits:
- 37.5 hours a week
- Shifts vary and require flexibility - including alternate weekends
