'Forest School' Coordinator

£9.03 per hour / Part Time - 22.5 hours

We are looking for a Forest School Coordinator to join a small friendly team....

Vetro Recruitment are currently looking for an activity based coordinator for one of the UK's leading support services who support young people and adults with complex learning needs aged 18-65. This new and exciting role includes a comprehensive induction, you will also get the opportunity to extend your training ALL fully funded!

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to deliver and expand a Forest School provision. Ideally with experience in the concept and ethics of Forest School. Offering people with autism regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in woodland and natural environment with trees. All residents are encouraged to personalise and take ownership; the atmosphere reflects this and promotes a happy, healthy and enthusiastic ambience.

The forest school coordinator would be aided by support workers to run sessions each week. You would be responsible for ensuring the residents safety whilst outdoors and providing fun and creative activities to be inspirational in developing this element of the provision.

Requirements:

- Forest school experience

- Level 3 Forest School Qualification (desirable)

- First aid training (or willing to obtain)
