Job Description:
As a Foundation Years Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education, creating a positive and engaging learning environment for children aged 3-5 years. You will play a key role in supporting our students' early development, ensuring they have a strong foundation for their future education..
- Title: Foundation Years Teacher
- Pay: £157.66 per day minimum
- Location: Cardiff Bay
- Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm

The school is looking for a Foundation Years Teacher
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner who continually strives to improve the teaching and learning that occurs within their classroom
- Demonstrates high expectations of themselves and of children to ensure all pupils reach their potential
- Create a stimulating learning environment to engage, motivate, and educate pupils effectively
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders including parents, carers, school staff, governors, and other professionals
- Demonstrate excellent positive behavior strategies
- Be able to work as part of a dedicated team providing insight and support
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Use innovative materials and resources such as ICT to enhance pupil learning
- Represent the school's values and ethos
The candidate: What you'll need to be a successful Foundation Years Teacher
- At least 1 year of teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
- Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
