The Education team at Vetro Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work with a small cluster of Primary Schools in the Caerphilly LEA.
The candidate will preferably have previous experience of working in BOTH Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2.
Location: Caerphilly, Blackwood, Oakdale, Bargoed, Hengoed
Pay: £65-£75 per day
Hours: Part-time, Ad Hoc, 8:30 - 3:30
Being responsible for the class in the absence of the class teacher
Teaching a variety of subjects according to the curriculum
Marking and assessment
Leading and assisting a class of Foundation Phase or Key Stage 2 pupils
Using class resources effectively
Monitoring the development of individual students
Assessing skills and knowledge through tests and assignments
Communicating with parents, the LEA and administrative staff
Contributing to school events
You will need at least one of the following in order to apply:
*Level 4 Education Certificate or equivalent
*6+ months experience in a similar position
