Vetro Education have been working with a number of Further Education colleges throughout South Wales and as a result are looking for a number of experienced Lecturers, Support Workers, Learning Support Assistants and Learning Coaches to take up a variety of Further Education jobs across South Wales.
One area of particular interest for Vetro is increased work supporting the colleges with their Learning Coach vacancies and emergency cover - As a Learning Coach you will be working predominantly with learners aged 14 to 16 years old who suffer with anxiety, self-esteem issues and have emotional difficulties. Some of the learners tend to be disengaged and have behavioural issues,
Learning Coaches will be responsible for a small number of learners, working closely between them and the tutors and also liaising with the learners' parents.
Vetro Education are working with Further Education colleges on a weekly basis and these provisions regularly require staff booked on block/ long term bookings as well as more casual schedules (flexible hours are available)
* At least 6 months experience working with children (minimum of 3 months with working within SEND)
* Fully enhanced DBS (on the Update service) - ability to obtain a new one
* References covering the last three years (no gaps)
* EWC registration
* Right to work in the UK
