A new service arising in the heart of Liverpool has opened up for an opportunity for an experienced Social Care Manager to take on this exciting new role as Locality Manager working collaboratively with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of this community.

Our client is looking for a Manager, to take on a small community, supporting people with Learning disabilities and Autism.

You will be responsible for the management of 8 people who live in independant flats, leading and managing an experienced team providing a person centred care service. You will be undertaking risk assessments, writing care plans and rota's. You will also be responsible for the financial administration of the locality you operate in so experience managing budgets is essential.

The organisation are a nationwide charity, that offer a person centred, individually tailored care and support service for Adults.

The services current CQC rating is OUTSTANDING.

The successful candidate will be experienced in supporting people with ASD, sensory impairments and physical disabilities.

Pay for the role is between £24,458 - £25,094 with some excellent benefits.

Requirements for this positions

- Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership position in the Social Care sector.
- 3 years experience working with Learning Disabilities or Autism.
- Driver - Desirable
- QCF/NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care + willingness to work towards level 5 in management
