Vetro Recruitment are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse to join a well established organisation that cares and supports Children and Young People with varying learning and physical disabilities.
We are looking for a qualified Nurse who has experience working with learning disabilities and Children. The service you will be working at offers residential care and education to young people with complex health needs.
As part of the nursing team, you will assist with care plans, risk assessments, administering medications, working alongside LAC teams and psychiatrists to ensure the Children and Young People are getting the best and most suitable care possible. Your role will also entail training and educating support staff to deliver delegated clinical tasks.
You'll need to have a solution focused approach, excellent communication skills, a can-do attitude and a willingness to challenge yourself to develop new skills.
Usual hours will be Monday - Friday, 9-5, however, as the service offers 24/7 support, your working times can vary, so we are looking for people who can be flexible.
Salary is between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on experience.
You'll be either a qualified Children's nurse or an RNLD nurse with clinical experience.
