Primary SEND Teacher job

5 days a week, full time, long term.

September 2019 start

SEND school - Cardiff

£100 - £125 per day initially

Vetro Education have direct instruction from this SEND School in Cardiff to recruit a Primary Teacher for a long term role starting September 2019. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching a small class of pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties, 5 days a week from September 2019 onwards.

The school are looking for SEND or Primary-trained Teachers, ideally experienced in the Foundation phase to fully immerse themselves in the school and to want to be "part of the team" from day 1!

Duties include:

Take charge of all teaching within the foundation phase class with the aid of two Teaching Assistants.
Plan lessons for the weeks ahead
Liaise with senior leadership team at the school to report on progress
Converse with parents and outside agencies

In order to be considered for this role:

It is essential to have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).

You will also need a valid DBS on the update service or be happy to obtain a new one.

You will be registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) as a Teacher

You will be experienced in teaching either in SEND or Primary Education.
