The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and experience leading within a residential home for children & young people with EBD.
We have an INCREDIBLE opportunity for a Registered Manager to join a small Children’s Residential provider to manage a 3 bedded Children's Residential home in the Smethwick area of Birmingham. The home has been rated as GOOD for 6 years so rest assured, you will be coming into a settled service.
**Due to the nature of the job and the activities involved, we are only able to consider applicants who have a full drivers licence and a car**
Salary: Up to £36,000 per year

About the Role:
You will be joining an established and experienced care team at a leading residential service as a Registered Manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the residential service, and most importantly the wellbeing of the children and young people within their care. This role is perfect for someone already working as a Registered Manager looking for a new opportunity to join an ambitious organisation. Duties will include budget management, recruitment, referrals, staff management, managing and maintaining OFSTED registrations and standards, and ensuring the service offers therapeutic care and support.
- Salary circa £36,000 plus bonuses.

- NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services or equivalent
- Experience working within a Deputy Manager for at least two years or Registered Manager's position
- Experience in a residential children's home environment
- Full UK driving licence
