Vetro Recruitment have a rare opportunity for a Children's Home Registered Manager to join a settled and passionate team just outside Pontypool in a 2 bed home for young people with emotional behavioural difficulties.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + £2,000 per year bonus
Location: Pontypool area
Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm (flexible)
Contract Type: Permanent
This role offers support and development for the right candidate looking to step up into management, with a small 2 bed service which is settled. Alternatively, a candidate already in a registered manager position, looking for a new opportunity in a smaller organisation, with the children at the heart of their values and a dedicated, close knit leadership team.
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and experience working in a residential home for young people.
- NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People
- Experience working within a Deputy or Registered Manager's position
- Experience in a residential children's home environment
