I have a rare opportunity for a Children’s Home Registered Manager to join a growing Children’s Residential Service Provider in Oswestry supporting Children & Young People with EBD and complex behaviours.

Easily commutable from Wrexham, Chester, Telford, Hereford and Newtown areas, I am recruiting for a Children's Home Registered Manager for an all-male therapeutic service for children & young people aged between 10 - 18 yrs with complex behaviours. The home is perfectly situated, offering the young people the best local amenities and access to rural areas too.  The settled and passionate team work tirelessly to advocate for and support the young people within the home aged 10-18 with harmful sexualised and associated complex behaviours.

Salary: £40,500
Location: Oswestry / Shropshire
Hours: Full time 
Contract Type: Permanent 

This role offers support and development for the right candidate looking to step up into management.  Alternatively, a candidate already in a registered manager position, looking for a new opportunity in a small organisation, with the children at the heart of their values and a dedicated, close-knit leadership team. 

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and experience working in a residential home for young people.

  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children’s Services)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce
  • Experience working within a Deputy or Registered Manager's position
  • Experience in a residential children's home environment
