We are currently recruiting for a brand new Registered Manager to join a well established social care organisation, based in Great Harwood.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of a 5 bedded complex learning disabilities service, for children and young people.
It will be your responsibility to manage the service, providing a nurturing and homely environment for the young people in your care.
The role requires you to work both as the manager as well as working on shift.
The organisation offers flexible working, as you will be the manager, you can choose hours and days to work, as long as it meets the needs of the service. (39-45 hour contract)
You will also be responsible for on call duties, 1 week in 3.
Pay - £32,000 at the moment, as there are 3 Children currently at the service, this will increase as the amount of children does.
The ideal candidate will have
Either experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager (2 yrs) for a children's LD service.
Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or working towards
Effective communication skills
Ability to manage the home budget
