I have an EXCITING opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to join and oversee the opening and running of a BRAND NEW children’s residential home in Redhill, Surrey supporting young people with Social, Behavioural and Emotional challenges.

I am looking for candidates already in a Registered Manager position, with a record of maintaining at least a GOOD OFSTED RATING across their previously managed homes.
 
**Due to the nature of the job and the activities involved, I am only able to consider applicants who have a full drivers licence and a car**
 
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 + Bonuses!
Location: Redhill, Surrey (RH1 Postcode)
Hours: Full time 
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong and enthusiastic approach to management, able to function in a high paced environment with experience in a Children’s Residential Management role. You will be proactive and committed, with a long term view to improving and maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the opening and recruitment for the home
  • Hold OFSTED registration
  • Manage staff team within service
  • Ensure the staff and young people are supported at all times
  • Ensure the service offers therapeutic care and support
  • Ensure the service is safe and efficient
  • Manage staffing and recruitment
  • Ensure the service meets OFSTED standards

Requirements:
  • Level 5 Diploma in Care Management is ESSENTIAL
  • 4 Years minimum Residential Childcare experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Experience working within a Children’s Registered Manager position is ESSENTIAL
  • History of OFSTED rated - GOOD in children’s homes previously managed
  • Safeguarding of Children experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Understanding of Therapeutic Care is ESSENTIAL
  • Full UK Drivers Licence is ESSENTIAL
