We are currently recruiting for a Children's Registered Manager to join an expanding organisation, based near Chard, Somerset.
The Company:
A small but established and knowledgeable company. They have a handful of lovely homes that can accommodate 10 young people aged 10-18.
The service you will be managing, will be a 3 bedded EBD children's residential home.
The company provide placements for young people with social and emotional difficulties. These difficulties have often come about due to early life experiences such as family crisis or trauma. This affects and has built barriers on the young people's progress and developments towards their future. The placements at this company are designed to produce positive outcomes through working on the behaviours.
** All homes are judged 'Good' by Ofsted **
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People)
  • 3 Years experience working in a managerial role within children's residential care.
  • Effective Leadership and people skills
  • Experience in taking part and leading inspections
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to manage the home budget. £30,500 - £31,000, based on experience and qualifications. The role is open to both an experienced Registered Manager and ambitious Deputy Managers, looking for that next step.
