Easily commutable from Birmingham, Shropshire and Worchestershire, I am recruiting for a Children's Home Registered Manager for a 6 Bedded Children’s Home for Young People with Physical and or Learning Disabilities with a current Ofsted rating of “Good”.
The home is perfectly situated, offering the young people the best local amenities and access to rural areas too. The settled and passionate team work tirelessly to provide a home from home environment and advocate for and support the young people within the home aged between 3 - 19 years old.
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
This role offers support and development for the right candidate looking to step up into management. Alternatively, a candidate already in a registered manager position, looking for a new opportunity in a small organisation, with the children at the heart of their values and a dedicated, close-knit leadership team.
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and experience working in a residential home for young people.
- NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children’s Services)
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce
- Experience working within a Deputy or Registered Manager's position
- Experience in a residential children's home environment
- Experience of working with Children or Young People with LD or PD
