Vetro have a fantastic new opportunity for a Registered Manager at a service in Brighton which provides care and support to six adults who may be living with severe learning disabilities, autism and behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be seen as challenging. along with extensive benefits, the salary for this 37.5 hours per week role is £34000 to £36000.

About The Role:

We seek an individual who can lead and develop our client's staff and services. The establishment is a newly opened six-bed service that has been designed for those individuals who require a high level of support including behaviours that challenge, to live within a community setting and will continue to require significant support in the longer term. Clients may be transitioning from children's residential services or moving out of the family home or have been discharged from hospital placements.

The role involves:

Overall leadership and management responsibility of the care home and development of close working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams, responsibility for the delivery of an outstanding level of care and operational performance, whilst continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers.
Ensuring both quality and financial targets are met, and facilitating the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of purchasers and clients, and also reflect market trends and evidence based practice.
As a member of the management team, you will contribute to the strategic development of the care home, ensuring adherence to our client's objectives and business plan.
Promoting and enhancing our client's reputation for high quality outcomes for service users.

Requirements & Attributes:

Qualified - RMA, NVQ/RQF/QCF Level 5 or Learning Disabilities Nurse.

An excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector (essential), together with an understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy and sensory processing issues with a passion for improving clinical quality and client care.

Strong commercial acumen, in order to support successful service delivery and development, people management, budget control, business development, and revenue generation.
An inclusive and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership is a critical factor in the success of this role, in order to provide direction and implement change.

Salary & Benefits:

£34,000 to £36,000

Hours per week: minimum 37.5
