We are actively seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RGN) to join our team at Vetro Recruitment, to work on the Acute Short Stay Medicine / Medical Decisions Unit (MDU) at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.

£20.00 to £33.00 (PAYE Std)
£25.86 to £42.66 (FCSA approved Umbrella)
About the Role:
The University Hospital of Wales, also known as the Heath Hospital, is a major 1,000-bed hospital in the Heath district of Cardiff. UHW is a teaching hospital of Cardiff University School of Medicine and was Europe's first fully integrated hospital and medical school. The hospital is the third largest University Hospital in the UK, and the largest hospital in Wales. The Acute Short Stay Medicine / Medical Decisions Unit (Ward A-1) is reacjing out for dedicated staff to join their strong team.
This is very likely the hospital in Wales where opportunities for nurses to enhance their clinical skills are more readily available due to its size.
We have ongoing, flexible shifts available with either full or part-time hours to suit your availability. We are especially interested to hear from RGNs who are compassionate, committed and have experience nursing in various specialities. You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients, providing a first class service and commitment to making a difference in the lives of these patients and their families.
Duties will include:
Administering medication
Reviewing and planning care for patients
The implementation of care and treatment plans
Liaising with other professionals to deliver care to patients, including liaising with families.

Key Requirements:
You must be an RGN with at least 6 months relevant and recent experience
You must hold a valid NMC PIN
