We have an INCREDIBLE opportunity for Residential Support Workers to join a FANTASTIC Residential Service in Gainsborough, supporting 10  adults  with Learning Disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviours. 

**Due to the nature of the job and the activities involved, we are only able to consider applicants who have a full drivers licence and a car**
 

Salary: Day role - £20,304 p/year
5:2 shift pattern, 5 shifts one week one, 2 shifts on week 2
43.5 hours p/week
Night role - £19761 p/year
5:2 shift pattern, 5 shifts one week one, 2 shifts on week 2
28 hours p/week
Location: Gainsborough


As a Support Worker, you will be key in helping people with complex needs. A Support Worker is a challenging role, but the rewards are incomparable to any other job.  As a Support Worker will be working in an environment where the little things that you do every day could have life-changing results. About the Role
  • Working with the staff team across all levels to safeguard our young adults at all ties.
  • Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events held within the home and wider community.
  • Assisting with practical tasks relating to care. For example, cooking and cleaning.
  • Creating positive relationships with young adults, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
  • Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
  • Continually maintaining accurate and clear record keeping.
  • Ensuring that the needs of the young adults are being met and regularly reviewing and recording any changes to their needs.
  • Actively contributing to the development of the team.
 
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
  • A strong team player
  • Resilient and confidence to ask for support as needed
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • A Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a willingness to complete this
  • Full UK driving licence due to the location of the home
