Vetro have an excellent opportunity for a Children's Residential Support Worker at a 6 bed service in Langford, Newark, which provides support for children aged 8 to 16 with complex needs. The salary for this full time night shifts role is £22,566, working 38.5 hours per week. The shift pattern will be 5 nights one week and 2 nights the next.

The organisation is a long-established provider of quality education and care services to children and young adults, with reports across the board from OFSTED and CQC as good or excellent.

As a Support Worker you will be key in helping young adults with complex needs This is a challenging role but the rewards are incomparable to any other job. Your ambition for the young adults you support will help them take steps to fulfilling their potential.

Working with all levels of the Staff Team to safeguard young people at all times.
Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events held within the home and wider community.
Assisting with practical matters relating to care (cooking, cleaning etc.)
Creating positive relationships with the young people and offering them unconditional dignity and respect.
Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young people.
Continually maintaining accurate and clear record keeping.
Ensuring that the needs of the young person are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.

Actively contributing to the development of the team.


A Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care

A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.

A strong team player
Resilience to keep going at difficult times and to ask for support if needed
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Computer literacy
A Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care

Own transport is essential as the service is not on a public transport route
