SEND Teacher job
Full time, long term with potential for permanent employment
£100 - £125 per day initially.
Vetro Education have direct instruction from this SEND School in Cardiff to recruit an SEND or Primary Teacher for a long term role starting 29th April 2019. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching a small class of pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties, 5 days a week for the entire Summer term. The school have asked Vetro Education to make applicants aware that this role is very likely to go permanent within the next 12 months.
The school are looking for enthusiastic SEND/Primary-trained Teachers to fully immerse themselves in the school and go above and beyond the role of a day to day supply Teacher.
You will be expected to:
Take charge of the class with the aid of two Teaching Assistants.
Plan lessons for the weeks ahead
Liaise with senior leadership team at the school to report on progress
Converse with parents and outside agencies
It is essential to have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
You will also need a valid DBS on the update service or be happy to obtain a new one.
You will also need to be registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
