Specialist Support Worker, Senior
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) & Mental Health
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £17,383 - £17,895 per annum
* It is essential that you hold a full driving licence and have access to transport.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Support Worker to advance to a Senior level, and join a specialist ASD team based in Thornbury. You will be working for a leading UK charity who support autistic adults by providing support and promoting independence. If you are passionate about providing an excellent standard of support and have, or would like to gain, specialist ability in making a difference to individuals with a background in mental health / ASD we would love to hear from you.
The Senior Support Worker role will see you: support and care for autistic adults, enabling each person to live independently and enable autistic adults to enter employment, access education, join clubs and participate in community activities. You will work within a small team of Support Workers and a Line Manager to ensure the support provided helps to these individuals wish to achieve
Your working pattern will be varied over a seven day rota and will include sleep-ins and bank holidays.
To apply you must:
- Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care / Equivelant
- Experience as a Senior and above
- Car Driver
