Senior Support Worker Role- Children and Young Adults
North West 
£13 p/h

Exciting senior support role opportunities in the North West.

We are looking for individuals who pride themselves on being able to provide emotional, mental and physical help for individuals with particular learning disabilities and behavioural challenges. 

The role is based within 2-4 bed homes in Chester and Warrington, providing support to children and young people with certain learning difficulties and EBD. Working alongside other support workers in the house, this is an ideal opportunity for support workers who are looking to build their care career. 

Taking on a more senior role, the senior support worker role will require you to provide support with running shifts. You will also be required to take on a more managerial role when working alongside other support workers. This may include being a point of contact for advice and additional support if needed.

Pay and shift patterns:
  • £13 per hour
  • £60 per sleep
  • 2 on 4 off (includes sleep)
  • 10 working days per month

  • Being a senior member of the support team 
  • Helping with shift patterns and management during shifts
  • Assisting with day to day life 
  • Building a relationship with the individual 
  • Medical distribution (where required)
  • Personal care (when required)
  • Contribute, update and report on care plans
  • Establish day to day care plans with the individual
  • Ensuring all support and care meets company standards and OFSTED regulations 

Experience and qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (desirable)
  • Paid experience within residential care and support sector for children and young people.
  • Drivers (desirable)
  • Experience working alongside children with learning difficulties and specific needs is desirable 
  • Support worker experience with adults
