Vetro are working with a lovely, thriving Primary School in Caerphilly LEA who is currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support individuals and small groups in KS2. The school are looking for an individual with experience or knowledge of ICT and Welsh.

Salary: £55 - £65 per day
Location: Caerphilly
Hours: 8:30 - 12:30 Monday to Friday

Start date: September (possibly sooner for right candidate)

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities and Duties:

*Undertaking tasks set by the class teacher

*Supporting children with SEN/ALN

*Supporting children within the class

*Building up rapport between yourself and the pupils

*Show initiative all times

*Managing the classroom under the direction of the class teacher

*Attending staff meetings

*Undertaking training to further develop your professional portfolio

*Working with groups of children to enhance their learning development

Qualifications and Skills:

*Recent experience of working in a Mainstream classroom/or experience of working with children with special educational needs (SEN) in an educational setting

*A strong passion to enhance the development of pupils

*Hold relevant qualifications

*Be registered with the EWC

*Due to the start date, applicants must currently hold a current DBS on the update service
