Vetro have an exceptional opportunity for a RMN/RNLD/RGN Staff Nurse at a newly opened nursing home with a difference, in Castleford. Along with extensive benefits, the salary for this role is circa £36,000 (based on a 42 hour average working week)
About The Service/Role:
This purpose built service is home for up to 12 service users and has an apartment style layout instead of a traditional nursing home feel. The unique layout means that adults with a vast array of complex mental and physical health needs and associated challenging behaviours can be cared for.
We are looking for a highly motivated nurse with a passion and desire to make a difference! The aim is to deliver person centred and outcome focused care and strive to help those service users who are able to transition away from nursing care and back to community living.
You will be empowered to really make a difference and the nursing home size means you have sufficient time in a day to make a real difference to the lives of those in your care.
Our client will accept applications from both experienced and newly qualified nurses and training will be provided (including preceptorship for those that require it).
Salary & Benefits:
The role is 42 hours per week at a salary of £36 713.00 (3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next). You will always be able to pick up an extra shift during the weeks where you have been rostered for 3 shifts.
When you pick up that extra shift at one of the other 3 units on site, our Client will pay you time-and-a-quarter!

Registered nurse RMN/RNLD/RGN with a valid NMC pin.
You will provide warmth, enthusiasm, and compassion when providing care to service users.
You will always strive to provide great quality holistic care, making every day better than the last; promoting our client's core values: maintaining independence and dignity to their service users.
You will be a team player, demonstrating outstanding communication skills and will be able to demonstrate effective teamwork as part of a multi-disciplined team.
You'll be up to date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations and will work using your initiative making effective decisions to improve care quality.
Experience of Mentorship and a supervisor qualification would be desirable but are not essential.
