About the role
Our client is located in the Portsmouth area and is a residential home caring for service users who have autistic spectrum conditions and learning disabilities. We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to work closely with vulnerable adults, their family members, carers and professionals to ensure each individual service user reaches their full potential.
You will be working alongside a team of experienced support workers and will adhere to the needs of each patient by following their personalised care plan.
The client’s vision is to create opportunities, challenge perceptions, enhance choices and provide high quality services to meet the diverse needs of people on the autism spectrum. The emphasis of the home is to encourage service users to fully participate and be involved in the day to day running of their home and to enjoy and follow their own chosen interests whilst being encouraged to diversify and try new experiences.
Each week we require you to provide us with your availability to work, we will then offer you shifts that fit in with your availability. We have an outstanding amount of work available at the moment, with part time and full time hours available.
Job Type: Flexible on going work
Shifts: Full time and part time work available. Day shift/ night shifts/ sleep in shifts available.
Pay: Pay rate - day shifts £9.81 (inclusive of holidays) night shifts - £10.09 (inclusive of holidays)

- Valid DBS uploaded on the update system. (DBS forms can be purchased through our online application)
- Right to work in the UK
- Complete the company's mandatory online training courses if you do not have a current certificate for them. These are free of charge to you.
What will you bring to the role?
As a support worker you will need to be caring, empathetic and enthusiastic. You will be comfortable working with challenging behaviours and supporting vulnerable adults to engage in different activities in the community.
