Do you have an interest in supporting people with Learning Disabilities and encouraging them to lead a more independent life? Are you enthusiastic, resilient, and driven to enrich and make a difference in the lives of these people? 

Supporting adults with learning disabilities including autism and other complex needs. As a Support Worker, you will be caring, empathetic and enthusiastic. You will be comfortable working with challenging behaviours and supporting vulnerable adults to engage in different activities in the community.

This is an exciting time to join an award-winning agency in supporting care service in Newport. The home currently supports two males, although they are able to support up to three. As well as Autism, the adults you will be supporting will have additional communication needs and sensory impairments.The home is a Learning Disability service for adults who require assisted living.

***Immediate starts available. Full UK driving licence needed. ***

Shifts: 8AM until 3PM / 3PM until 9PM / 8AM - 8PM /Sleep Ins 
Pay: £10.09 / £11.77 per hour (including holiday pay)

About the Role:
You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients, which includes observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions, treating each person with idignity, compassion, and honesty.
