I have an exciting opportunity for a number of Support Workers to join a wonderful residential service based in Bristol. The home is part of a Nationwide organisation that provides therapeutic support for its adult residents that struggle with mental health and complex learning disabilities.
In the role of Support Worker, you’ll be encouraged to take a person-centred, hands on approach to ensure residents have a high standard of care and quality of independent living. Understanding that everyone’s needs are different – and that all sorts of things add up to a fulfilled and flourishing life.

I’m looking for professionals that want to make a real difference in the lives of their residents, helping them to live a life that meets their needs and wants, physically, mentally and emotionally.
  • Location - Bristol (BS15 postcode)
  • Type of role - Permanent, full time
  • Salary - £19,770 - 40 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern - 12 hour shifts - Days 7:45am - 19:45pm - Nights 19:45pm - 7:45am (you must be flexible and be able to complete day and night shifts, Monday - Sunday) 
    Full training and induction before starting is provided, along with work shadowing more senior members of staff. You will be joining an established team who are very warm and welcoming.

    Job Duties of Support Worker
    • Be enthusiastic and innovative

    • Carry out personal care duties
    • Be hands on with the residents
    • Help with medication
    • Assist at meal times
    • Be communicative
    • Following procedures and practices to make sure the residents are safe at all times
    • Ensuring the well-being of the residents is put first
    • An understanding and experience of working in previous care and support roles is advantageous
