We are currently recruiting for a number of Support Workers to join a well established organisation, that provide care and support in a lovely residential home for Children based in Great Harwood.
You will be joining a 5 bedded home, which cares for both boys and girls.
The young people have complex needs and challenging behaviours.
The home specialises in care for Children with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Sensory Impairment.
You will be responsible for offering care and support throughout the Children's day to day life, education and activities, ensuring they are cared for appropriately and supported in all that they do.
Hours will be a full time contract, working 3 shifts on, followed by 3 shifts off, on a rolling rota. The shifts will be 12 hours.
People willing to do both Day and Waking Night work is desirable.
You will be offered:
- £8.25 per hour
- 4 days thorough training
- Opportunity of over time
- Opportunity to undertake NVQs.
You will need:
- To hold a driving licence (Do not need to use your own car)
- Have at least 6 months experience caring for people with complex needs.
- Have minimum an NVQ Level 2 in health and social care.
- Ideally you will have an NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People, but not essential.
