We are looking for experienced, individuals to work as mental health support workers at a CAMHS Tier 4 Eating Disorder service in Hove. The service offers person-centred care, which is tailored to meet the physical, medical, and mental health needs of each individual.


Within this role you may experience high levels of challenging behaviours that some people can find quite distressing. 
Due to this, all staff members are required to have valid restraint training such as MAPA / TMVA / PMVA. If you do not have the required training it is mandatory that you attend our subsidised specialist 2 day PMVA training course.


The ideal mental health support worker will have some experience working with mental health patients and or patients with an eating disorder. This is not mandatory as full training can be provided. 


Location: Hove
Job Type: Flexible on going work
Shifts: 7:30 to 20:00 day and 19:30 to 8:00 night
Pay: Day shifts £11.77 night shifts £12.33 (hourly) inclusive of holiday entitlement.


About the role
You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients, which includes observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.

Key Requirements:
  • 6 months of experience working in a mental health setting
  • TMVA / PMVA trained (Training can be provided)
  • Right to work in the UK
