Residential Support Worker - Northampton - Up to £24,000 (inclusive of sleeps)
Do you pride yourself on being confident, friendly, and knowledgeable? Is having a career you can be proud and passionate about important to you? You could be exactly who I am looking for!
I am looking for three individuals who like to make a difference in their day to day lives, people who are positive role models for children and young people in a support enivornment! This residence is in Northampton, situated around 15 minutes away from the city centre.

This particular location is home to up to 3 children and young people with complex emotional needs and showing emotional behaviour disorders. The home will never support more than 3 children/young people at a time and has a great staff ratio.
As a support worker, you will provide emotional, social and behavioural support around the clock - with a big focus on increasing independence and developing coping mechanisms for the children. The perfect candidate will be an active individual who is willing to fully involve themselves in both the planning and execution of activities for the young people - whether that be on-site or in the surrounding community.

Given the potentially complex emotional behaviours of the residents, an ideal candidate will have their NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young people - or have vast amounts of experience and are willing to complete their level 3 once employment commences. I am looking for candidates who value long term progression in a company, who see themselves staying within a company and progression internally.
