We are currently seeking a number of support worker to work within a supported living homes based in North Baddesley; Hampshire. The job is based within a 3 bedded supported living home working with male adults with learning difficulties. This job a part time,bank support work, offering flexible working hours, paying £8.21 - £9.15 / hour.
This supported living home based in North Baddesley is working within a male only unit. Your role will be assisting with the support of all residence within the supported living home. There are 3 residents within this home. This role is supporting adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours,there are very little personal care duties or manual handling requirements.
This role is offering early and late shifts on a week by week basis, across Monday- Sunday. There is plenty of flexibility to work when you want to work but you must be able to commit to the core hours of the shifts. These are 7am til 2pm shifts or 2.30pm til 10pm shifts. Sleep in's and night shifts are also available for those who prefer night work.
Due to the needs of the residents, some challenging behaviours may be present however these are classed as mild and verbal only.

Main duties within our Support Worker vacancies:
Prompting and assisting where required with hygiene care
Supporting with meal preparations
Working with male service users.
Supporting and ensuring the safety of clients whilst out in the community
Accompanying residents to lunch trips, day groups, the bank, coffee outings and to day services where required.
Assisting with de-escalation of any behaviours that may show
Providing physical and emotional support
Helping with general housekeeping
