Hours: Full Time (37hrs) / Part Time (Neg.)
Salary: £9.50 per hour

Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking a new career in Care, and join a specialist learning disability / Autism / Mental Health team based at one of our services near Banwell, Somerset. You will be working for a leading UK charity who support autistic adults by providing support and promoting independence. If you are passionate about providing an excellent standard of support and have, or would like to gain, specialist ability in making a difference to individuals with a background in mental health / Autism we would love to hear from you.

The Job
The Support Worker role will see you: support and care for autistic adults, enabling each person to live semi/independently and enable autistic adults access outreach services / education, join clubs and participate in community activities, assisting with personal care. You will work within a small team of Support Workers and a Line Manager to ensure the support provided helps these individuals achieve a fulfilling life.

Your working pattern will be varied over a seven day fixed rota and will include alternate weekends & bank holidays. You must be available to work between 7am - 10pm.

To apply you must:
- Have a genuine passion to support Adults with Learning Disabilities & Complex needs
- Experience in care profession / or personal care experience are encouraged to apply
- Car driver desirable due to rural location
- Flexibility to work a shift pattern
