*SUPPORT WORKER - CHILDREN WITH AUTISM AND LEARNING DISABILITIES*

As a Children's Support Worker you will be responsbile for the development, safety and care for Children with Learning disabilities and Autism. We are currently recruiting for a number of Children's Support Workers to work within a residential setting. All Children have varing needs, from moderate to severe learning disabilities.

Salary: £8.33p/h + £35 per sleep.

Locations of the services include - Leyland, Ribbleton, Penwortham, Lostock Hall and Haighton

This includes personal care.

The service that we are recruiting for are part of a nationwide organisation that offers career progression and training to employees.

Our Client is looking for passionate, professional and dedicated employees to work with children and young adults with autistic spectrum disorders and challenging behaviour. The service is a Residential Home that is linked with a nearby specialist school. Whilst the Young People attend school you will remain at the house, it is desirable that you can drive so that Young People can be taken to and from School/Activities.

The homes operate a rolling rota which indicates your shift patterns for the following 12 weeks. A typical early shift would be 07:30-16:00 and a late shift 15:30-22:00. You will work a combination of early and late shifts as assigned by the house manager. Part time opportunities are also available so please contact for details

There is also the opportunity to earn an additional £35 for a sleep-in shift, as well as the possibility of overtime.

To apply you will need the following:- Minimum 6 months experience caring for Children in a residential setting- Patience and understanding of learning disabilities and challenging behaviours
