Vetro Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for Support Workers to join services in various locations across the Vale of Glamorgan, supporting adults with learning disabilities.
We're looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who can encourage and support the Service users within supported living services with daily living skills and household tasks as well as supporting individuals in the community with activities such as going to the cinema and enjoying meals out.
Due to the nature of the activities - we are only able to consider applicants who have a full drivers licence and a car.
Salary: £17,948 - £18,240 (inclusive of sleeps - pro rata if part time)
Locations available: Barry, Barry Island, Penarth, Rhoose and St Athan
Permanent work on a variety of contracts; 16 / 20 / 25 / 30 hours per week
Shift Times: Are varied e.g. 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 10pm, 5pm - 10pm sleep 7.30am - 9.30am, 10am - 3pm
You need to be flexible with shift patterns, as shifts are booked for the needs of the service users. Rotas are prepared up to 4 weeks in advance though, so you will be able to plan around work

The successful candidate will be a driver with a passion for making a genuine difference to people's lives and work for an employer that really cares about you.
- Experience within a care setting is desirable but not essential
- Flexibility and a good work ethic
- You must have a full drivers licence
- You must be over the age of 18
- Comfortable with personal care
- up to 33 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays)
