Senior Support Worker Details: On behalf of my Client I am looking to recruit a suitably experienced Residential Support Worker to join their Children's Residential Homes, based in either Tuebrook, Liverpool.
The home is a 4 bedded services, caring for Children and Young People with emotional behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviours.
As a Support Worker it will be your responsibility to work with these young people and support them through their day to day lives.
This is an established provider with an excellent reputation in Merseyside. The homes themselves have settled young people and then reason for the recent expansion in the staff team is that the organisation is looking to open a new home towards the end of the year so there is plenty of chance for progression as well.
You will receive extensive training throughout your first 6 months and there is opportunities for support though relevant qualifications as your progressive within the organisation
Shifts are 10am - 10.30am the following day - 17.5 hours pay + Sleep In from 00.00-07.00am.
RSW roles are between £8 - £9 p/h + Sleep in rate on £45 per night
Staff generally work 10 shifts per month - Although they don't work a set pattern staff are not scheduled to work double shifts
For e.g. Shift Pattern may be
WK1 Tuesday, Friday,
WK2 Monday, Thursday, Sunday,
WK3 Weds, Saturday,
WK4 Tuesday, Thursday,
WK5 Monday, Weds, Saturday,
WK6 Tuesday, Friday,
You will also receive 28 days hols, double time on bank holidays, and triple time Xmas
