We are looking to appoint Support Workers & Senior Support Workers for a site of small residential homes in Rowde, Wiltshire. The site provides residential care and support for adults with Learning disabilities. This is a great opportunity for people new to care as the entry level position will consider people with no experience.

  • Salary - £16,286.00 - £18,300.00 per annum DoE

  • Hours per week: 37.5

  • Additional Information: Development opportunities with clear career progression.

  • Permanent Full-time role with flexibility of shift options

  • 25 days holiday plus eight customary days

About the Service

The service supports adults with learning Disabilities and consists of 7 bungalows, 6 being residential and 1 being supported living. Each home has been adapted to meet the requirements of the people supported there. Where appropriate, specialist equipment is provided throughout the homes in addition to personalised technology to enhance resident care and promote independence.

The service is close partnership with resident family members and allied health professionals to help encourage person centred care. You will be providing care and support up to a total of 40 adults across a multitude of sites.

About you (the ideal candidate)

  • Full clean U.K. driving licence

  • Commitment and ability to work with autonomy and within a team

  • Flexibility with working various shift patterns including evenings and weekends

  • Ability to work within a culture that is responsive, inclusive and person centred.

  • Promote health, safety and well-being of the people supported whilst respecting people's personal choice

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • A knowledge of people with learning disabilities and/or mental health problems

  • Obtain Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2
