We are recruiting for 3 Residential Support Worker's to join a Residential School in the heart of Telford. The service provides on-site residential care and education for students aged between 8 to 19 with high functioning autism.

The role of a Residential Support Worker
- Annual salary: £16,500 - £16,900 dependent on experience
- 13 weeks holiday per year (term time work only)
- Hours per week: 40

- Fully funded NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Health and Social Care
- Permanent Full time role, flexible working week
About the School
The school is an independent, residential special school and children's home providing education and care for children and young adults aged from eight to nineteen years who have a range of complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities.
The school encourages their students to live and learn within an environment that provides imaginative and alternative learning opportunities appropriate to individual needs, while providing an excellent range of sources and facilities to stimulate learning. They actively support and enable young people to engage in purposeful and enjoyable activities, both indoors and outdoors. Staff at the service place particular emphasis on the development of independent living and social skills.
As a Residential Support Worker you will be a valued member of the team and will have a huge positive impact on the students that you support. You will be providing support to a variety of young people, helping them to achieve their goals and ambitions.
This is an exciting new opportunity for somebody with no previous experience to delve into the Children's Residential Sector, or for an existing Support Worker to optimise your skills with the opportunity of further development.
